The ushers are more or less the eyes of the Church, the first point of contact in the Church. The department is made up of God fearing, smartly dressed people, always full of love, warmth and smiles. They function as follows:

Pre-service

1. Be in the church venue 30 minutes to one hour before service.
2. Prepare a safe and healthy environment.

During Service

1. Welcome people to church.
2. Ensure everyone is comfortable throughout the service.
3. Assist special needs persons to enter and leave the church.
4. Provide a comfortable temperature in the church.
5. Ensure orderliness/help people to find seat.
6. Provide directions to rest rooms/other facilities as needed.
7. Ensure a smooth flow of late members without interfering with the service.
8. Collect offering/coordinate the giving of offering .
9. Take count of the number of people in service

Post-service

1. Re-set the auditorium.
