Like I told the people in Church last Sunday, I don’t think we need to “wind” anyone to tap into the Thanksgiving mode, considering all that God has done for us. It’s been an awesome year, regardless of whatever awful experience we may have had. God is the reason why we can lift our hands and lift our voices to sing to Him. If it had not been the Lord who was on our side…..Don’t allow yourself to be dragged into the pit of grumbling and complaining, it is a strategy of the devil to deprive you of future blessings. God sustained Israel throughout the years of servitude in Egypt and He gave them deliverance. The plan of God was to take them all to the Promised Land, but many of them either forgot  or downplayed all the blessings and miracles. Rather than being grateful, they resorted to grumbling and complaining, because of that, they perished in the wilderness and couldn’t flow into the next blessing. Don’t block your future with ingratitude. If you’re not grateful for what God has done, you may not get what He wants to do.Child of God, make Thanksgiving a way of life. Let it not be a monthly or once a year affair like the American Thanksgiving. Be grateful for everything, including things that look bad; remember, all things work together for good to them that love God.
